This task force will take a focused look at what mechanisms can be developed that can enhance our region’s capability to effectively manage mass patient movement events and rapidly respond to mass casualty incidents.  Mechanisms for medical surge management is essentially what the group will be looking into.  Analysis of existing capability, identifying gaps and defining the scope for services needed to close existing gaps will be at the center of this effort.
