Cardiac Arrest Workgroup

Responsible for data collection, analysis and dissemination of reports from the Cardiac Arrest Registry to Enhance Survival (CARES) registry to the region.

Responsible for identification, development, and implementation of EMS/Hospital best practices in cardiac arrest management.

Goals

Share best practices with region (develop cardiac arrest standard of care) Collaborate with AHA on PSAP initiative
Share outcomes data for region
Discuss/share EMS best practices and develop education and best practices to showcase
Increase enrollment in CARES and work with CARES to establish baseline data for the region.
