System Plans and Guidelines

Regional System Plans describe and integrate all components of the trauma, Cardiac and Stroke Systems within Trauma Service Area E.  The Plans provide for centralized coordination, activation, readiness and system responsiveness.  Plans are reviewed and evaluated annually for effectiveness and appropriateness.

2019 NCTTRAC Trauma Transfer Guideline - Effective September 1, 2019

The NCTTRAC Regional Communications Center (RCC) utilized to facilitate the transfer of a trauma patient to a higher level of care (Level I & II Trauma Center) will cease operation on Sunday, September 1, 2019. In its place, beginning Sunday, September 1, 2019, the attached 2019 NCTTRAC Trauma Transfer Guideline will take effect allowing system transfer centers to receive transfer requests directly from hospitals seeking to transfer patients to a level I or level II trauma center. Please share this information with the appropriate agency/facility representatives within your organization in advance of the effective date. Additional reminder notices will be sent closer to the effective date via email and EMResource notification.
