SYSTEM PERFORMANCE IMPROVEMENT SUBCOMMITTEE

The SPI Subcommittee is responsible for oversight of emergency healthcare system performance improvement activities of NCTTRAC. The Open SPI Committee shall develop and review system performance standards, and review and make recommendations for appropriate designation of hospitals. The Closed SPI subcommittee shall review and analyze reported patient care and process issues, provide for rural child fatality review, maintain oversight for the Regional Communications Center, and serve as the NCTTRAC personnel review and grievance committee.

SUBCOMMITTEE RESPONSBILITIES:

  1. Evaluate and review referred cases.
  2. Maintain oversight and performance of the Regional Communications Center.
  3. Review and report trends on data analysis.
  4. Participate in the State initiative to establish a data management workgroup focused on data definitions, quality, and reporting.
