Description
Information: Due to COVID-19, NCTTRAC will be hosting this training via Zoom. This training will include segments covering EMResource and WebEOC and is free to all attendees.
EMResource is a day-to-day web-based application that is used for hospital and EMS agency status reporting and hospital COVID-19 data reporting. EMResource allows hospitals to report on their current clinical capabilities and bed availability so that EMS agencies and transferring hospitals can place patients at the most appropriate facility. EMS agencies list their agency capabilities and specialty resources so that agencies in need of specialty assistance can locate available assets in the region – this includes real-time updates about the current location and availability of air medical units. During a Mass Casualty Incident, hospitals use EMResource to report their MCI patient capacity so that responding EMS agencies can distribute patients appropriately. This training will cover the following topics:
- Setting up your account (including what notifications you receive)
- COVID-19 Hospital Daily Data Reporting
- Updating hospital/EMS agency status – how-to and regional policies
- Finding information about hospital & EMS capabilities
- Sending regional notifications
- MCI patient capacity reporting
- Using the map to locate the closest available air medical unit
WebEOC is a flexible platform that allows for creation or utilization of Information sharing “boards” based around local and regional situational awareness and real-time tracking of critical resources and patients. Current users of NCTTRAC’s WebEOC application include hospitals, emergency managers, EMS, EMTF, and public health departments. This training will equip new users with accounts, basic understanding of the software, and full functionality with regard to regional application during emergencies. The training will allow time to answer end-user questions. Please note that this training is focused on ESF-8 use of the NCTTRAC WebEOC server and will not cover the TDEM STAR board, ETN, or the LoneStar Server.
