This one day course is designed to orient and train new EMTF-2 Mobile Medical Unit (MMU) Strike Team partners. Each attendee will gain knowledge of the Emergency Medical Task Force (EMTF) program with specific concentration on the MMU Logistics, and Zumro mobile tent system.

 The training will consist including:

• History of the Emergency Medical Task Force and Texas Disaster Medical System
• EMTF “deployment readiness” highlights
• EMTF response assets and cache capabilities
• Pre-deployment, deployment, demobilization, and reimbursement
• Tour of NCTTRAC Disaster Medical Support Warehouse
• Emergency Medical Task Force equipment familiarization
• Mobile Medical Unit equipment set-up and reconstitution
• After Action Review and team-building discussion
